Our fitters are assembly professionals. It is what we do day-in day-out, we build furniture and put together products designed for home assembly. This means that we don’t have to follow instructions step-by-step. We know how to build things. We refer to the instructions for specific pieces of information, not to tell us how to put a drawer together. This means we build it quickly and get it right first time. Because we charge by the hour for most assemblies, it makes our service great value for money. It also means we can get big jobs done in one day. Our customers are constantly amazed by how much one person can build in a day.
Consistently getting the job right is just the beginning of the story. The fact that we put your experience as a customer first is probably the reason that we have so much repeat business. To begin with, the estimators you talk to on the phone have all assembled furniture, so they know what you are talking about. The estimates they provide are a realistic guide to the final cost and the time it will take.
Once you have decide to book an appointment we operate 7 days a week in most areas and also offer evening appointments for smaller jobs during the week. We know there is nothing worse than sitting in all day waiting for someone to turn up. Your time is precious, especially if you have taken a day off work. This why we have developed our unique Not Before Time (NBT). We will agree a time, for example 2.00pm before which we will not arrive. This means that you can go out in the morning and not worry that you will miss us. We also contact you by phone or by text message, typically 1 hour before we arrive.
When your appointment is booked into our system we send by email a job reference number, copy of specification of work and the fitters name and mobile number. This means if you need to contact us about your job all your details are immediately available. If your delivery company changes the delivery date (unfortunately it does happen), then simply contact us quoting the job number and we will reschedule your appointment free of charge providing we have at least 1 days notice.
When our fitters arrive, you know you are in safe hands. All of them are trusted, tested and reliable. We are all smartly uniformed and we speak English as a first language, so there are no communication problems. We bring a comprehensive assembly toolkit and even carry a selection of spare fittings in case a screw or fixing is missing. At the end of the job we complete a job summary sheet, leave a copy with you and then take payment by debit / credit card (credit cards subject to 3% surcharge) via the phone during office hours or by cash at any time.
As a finishing touch we send you a receipt by email and a feedback form asking for your comments about our service. If you say nice things about us then we will post your comments on our website for everyone to see, but should you have any concerns, then it will be dealt with by a manager who will contact you.
